This crocheted doll, one of four members of "Tits of Crochet," is based on the character of Schlatko from the Broadway version of Hedwig and the Angry Inch as portrayed by Peter Yanowitz. Details include embellished vest, shirt decal, and emroidered leopard print pants.
I can't say enough about the members of Tits of Clay, how talented they are, and how kind they all are to their fans. What started out as a random pun eventualy turned into a serious mission to memorialize the band in yarn. I couldn't have done it without their help (especially Tim) providing closeup costume pictures for details I would have otherwise never been able to capture. I'll be forever grateful for all of the stagedoor encounters and other interactions that stemmed from this show and changed my life forever!
